Ingredients
3 cups flour
teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup light brown sugar
4 eggs
2 cups pumpkin puree
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 Tablespoons finely grated orange zest
2 cups white chocolate chips
Method
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour an 8x4-inch loaf pan. Sift together dry ingredients. Set aside. Cream the butter and sugars together until light and fluffy, about 5-7 minutes. Add the eggs one at a time, beating until combined, then mix in the pumpkin, buttermilk and orange zest. Carefully add dry ingredients, beating at low speed just until combined. Fold in white chocolate chips. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake until golden brown and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, about 50-60 minutes. Let cool completely before slicing.
